Sophie Timms

Embroidery Artist and Teacher

Modern Hand Embroidery Artist Sophie Timms is the founder of Mindful Mantra Embroidery; @mindfulmantra_embroidery on Instagram or www.mindfulmantraembroidery.com. Sophie's work can be found in Love Embroidery magazine, Mollie Makes magazine, and she co-authored embroidery book Creative Embroidery and Beyond in 2023. Sophie is a self-taught embroidery artist, who has read and watched all there is to know about hand embroidery, so that you don't have to. With a desire to teach others, Sophie is best-placed as an instructor to share her tips, tricks and techniques. In her membership programme, The Embroiderist Academy, Sophie covers all the basic tips and tricks to help beginners to embroidery, and also encourages creativity to those who discovered the hobby some time ago.
